Contributions to the Special Issue on: Clowning in Healthcare Settings
Deadline for manuscript submissions has been postponed at 30 September 2018
The current Special Issue contributes to the ongoing scientific dialogue on the use of clowning and for this issue the editors will consider manuscripts across a broad area of aspects, such as effectiveness of clowning in health settings, working methods, personality characteristics of clown doctors, patients, relatives and staff appreciation, and so on.
Contributions from disciplines such as psychology, sociology, affective science, linguistics, biology, medicine, are (amongst others) welcome, as well as interdisciplinary works. The Special Issue welcomes empirical contributions, short reports, (theoretical) position papers, reviews and meta-analyses.
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.risu.biz. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited.
Finally, we are pleased to announce that starting from this issue we will have the opportunity to offer a free translation service, from English to Italian, thanks to a collaboration with Gabriella Valentino, Swansea University, Galles, U.K.
